What The Papers Say: Local dad works to keep daughter from being bullied

An Ottumwa dad is attempting to go the extra mile to keep his young daughter from being bullied. Jeremy Thomason’s daughter has Eczema on her face and has been given a hard time about it at school.

“My daughter has been bullied because she has a skin condition called Eczema and kids have told her to wash her face because she is dirty and ugly; and this is in kindergarten. They’ve said she looks like an alligator because her skin is so rough and I don’t like it; I don’t like bullies,” said Thomason.

Thomason feels that not enough has been done to protect his daughter and wants to keep other kids safe from bullies as well.
